Scam Emergency Alert
The "Support Agent" Rule
No government agency (Tax Office, Police, Social Security) will EVER ask you to pay via Bitcoin ATM. If someone is on the phone telling you what to press: **HANG UP.**
• **QR Code Hijacking:** Only scan a QR code generated by YOUR wallet. Never scan a code sent via text or email by a "representative".
• **Middleman Scams:** Never buy crypto for someone else. Scammers use this to move illicit funds while you take the legal fall for the transaction.
• **Public Safety:** Only use machines in well-lit businesses or financial centers. Avoid isolated kiosks in unmonitored alleys.
